A spot illustration I did for the May 27th sunday edition of the New York Times. It was for the Letters section where readers were voicing they're opinion about a previous article about current copyright laws. The original article was in favor of copyright laws being perpetual and rights inherted.

Most of the letters were against the opinion of the previous article, citing that works should be made public for the benefit of people in general. So that people can be inspired by previous works and build off of that idea, and so forth.

Also got to meet up with the super talented Sam Weber in New York, whos work in person is really awesome.

The piece that sold at the Power in Numbers show.

"Out of the Loop" 5"x7" Gouache and collage.

Congrats on the Times piece, Jon! Nice work on both of these. Can't wait to hear about more successes. Any entertainment work up your sleeve for the immediate future or are you sticking mainly to print work? Best of luck as always.
