It was an honor to work with Nicholas Blechman at the NY times book review to do a piece on the book "The Age of Shiva". Strangest thing about the book was the almost incestuous love the main character has for her child, in replacement for her absent husband. It was really great working with Nicholas on this as there was a lot of freedom involved with coming up with the visuals, and also to be illustrating something for the New York times book review.

Here is another book review.. also involving a child, but this one was for the LA times book review... The book is entitled "His Illegal Self", and it was about a child growing not having mother or father figure in his life, but to fill the void with less then ideal people. Working again with Carol on this project.

Hope everythings well with everyone.. I hope everyone that got a print from Tiny Showcase is pleased with their prints.

really nice man.
your stuff suits newsprint so well - the texture makes it look like it got rolled on with the letters. (it did, i guess...but you know what i mean).

Perhaps, I would also be proud of working with Jon Han. I am taking major in literature. I like reviewing book, including his books.

I consider myself as one of the booklovers and I enjoy reading any review about book or work of art. This is interesting when relating the painting with a book since they have something in common. Keep up that good work.
